One Back

This is one of those amazing stories where someone really has dedicated their life to a goal.  Bill Austin, the CEO of Starkey Laboratories, Inc. travels to Vietnam to provide hearing aids for hundreds of people who need them.  He’s been doing this for many years and has provided over 20,000 hearing aids to people around the world!  But this is a great story:  
CEO Sees Charity as More Important Than Profit in Hearing Business. The Starkey Hearing Foundation motto is,  ”Hearing is our concern so that the world may hear.”  

    Even the compay motto for Starkey Labratories says “Hearing is Our Concern.”  It makes you proud, and thankful that there are people, and business, like that.  Many times one thinks what could be done with large sums of money to help others.   But even so, I think many charitable efforts that people make go mostly unnoticed.  And that’s great too. But if we can give credit to those who do help others, I think we should!
