I previously posted a question asking whether it was haram to give charity to non-muslims, and some answers said that charity can be given to non-muslims, but zakah can only be given to muslims. Ummm aren’t they the same thing? I don’t understand the whole concept of giving money to charity. If money is needed then somebody somewhere is getting paid for something and then it’s no longer charity it’s just a job being funded out of other people’s pockets.
