Good ideas for a charity about giving Africans clean water?
Posted on January 23rd, 2012 by 1B
I’m kind of interested in it having an indian/buddhist/ohm/karma touch and I found a nice ohm design to use IF i were to use it. We also threw around the idea of ‘The Enlightenment Project’ but I want to see other people’s feed back and Ideas!
Thanks
PS: This fundraising is for Charity: Water.

What exactly are you wanting? a name? why not try the free flow project? or the boil order hault? or something like that. Something involving water in its name
To form a charity, you have to create a business plan, rent a facility for your staff, file paperwork with your national government, and on and on.
Do you mean you want to engage in fundraising for an organization that works on clean water issues? That’s fine, but that’s NOT a charity — that’s an individual effort by a group of people. It’s best if you allow people to donate directly to the charity (Global Water Fund, the Water Project, H2O Africa Foundation, Water Wells for Africa, etc.) not through you — any money you handle yourself you could be taxed for.
