Does anyone know about rulings on giving charity in Islam?
I dont mean zakat, i meant….zadak? I dont know how to spell it…in hebrew it is tzadaka, and its similar in arabic. It’s just when you give money to a person on the street who asks for it, basically. In Judaism, according to my rabbi before i converted (obviously, lol), you are required to give SOMETHING to anyone who asks for money or food…..she said that it is good even if it is a “dried up prune.”
My mother was wondering if it was the same in islam, and i’d like to answer her, lol =)
thanks!
Tomboy: wow i didnt know harry potter held all the answers i ever needed!!! AWESOME!
-.-
spamming is for losers, dont do it! =p
umm ali: yes, inshallah, i have been trying my best to share knowledge with her as she does not quite belong to any religion (she’s kind of an ex-catholic, almost jew, lol)
