In 2007, Swift started a year-long campaign with the Governor of Tennessee and the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police to protect children from online predators. The campaign distributed Internet safety information and materials to students and parents across the state. Swift donated the pink Chevy pick-up truck she got from her record lable to the Childrens charity Victory Junction Gang. Victoria Junction has helped more than 11000 children with chronic illnesses attend the camp for free. In 2008, Swift donated all the money she earned at the Country Music Festival from her merchandise sales to various Red Cross relief agencies. By winning Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year, she automatically donated $10000 to her charity of choice – St Jude Childrens Research Hospital. In response to the flood in Iowa in 2008, she donated $100000 to the Red Cross in Cedar Rapids. Swift supports @15, a teen-led social movement site that allows teens to make a difference through an established platform.
